Do you deliver every image you shoot?
No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, misfocussed shots, shots with bad expressions, and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because I shoot with low apertures, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure I have the perfect focus. I don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so I spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. I might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure I have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment.

Does your studio provide videography services?

Magnolia Lane Photography only provides photography services. However, I can refer you to a few videography companies if you'd like!

Have you shot at my venue before?

I have shot at many different locations! If I have not shot at your locations, I will do extensive online research and attempt to visit prior to the wedding day to do a thorough walk-through.

Do you do destination weddings? What are the additional fees?

I LOVE TO TRAVEL. In addition to the wedding package, clients are responsible for paying travel fees - round-trip airfare for two (myself and assistant ), a rental car (including gas and taxes), and hotel accommodations (1 room), preferably at the hotel where the bride is preparing for her wedding (it makes the wedding day so much smoother).

Which photographer will be shooting my wedding?

Brooke is the owner of MLP & lead photographer at all weddings. Ben (her husband) is the second photographer & assistant.

Do you provide partial-day coverage?

We typically do not provide partial-day coverage. On weekends, we only accept clients who require at least 7 hours of coverage.
